"The local office is great to work with but their Under Writers obviously live in concrete because they don’t have a clue about winter, I put black weed barrier down they called it some type of material which I have gravel coming to put down around the house. It seems that State Farm doesn’t want to insure Idaho even with a letter from the fire department they canceled us because they think we are in a fire zone. We haven’t had a fire since 1910."

"I first moved to St. Maries 14 years ago. I was nearly broke at the time and had just moved a manufactured home from Cody, WY to St. Maries. During the move there was some damage to the manufactured home. I called my old State Farm agent in WY and was told I would need to make my claim through the agent in St. Maries since I now lived there. I contacted Rod Halversen to find out that this type of damage from moving my manufactured home was not covered. I explained that I had checked with my agent in Cody, WY before moving and was told it would be covered. Well long story short, with the help of Rod and my previous State Farm agent, they covered my damages. This was such a huge help to me since like I said I was nearly broke at the time. Since then, I have gotten numerous policies with Rod from home policies, recreational vehicle policies and auto policies. I have never been dissatisfied with any of them. Everyone in the office from Rod himself to all of the staff that has worked there over the years have always been very pleasant and helpful. I moved away from St. Maries years ago but I still go through Rod's office and can't imagine going anywhere else. Even though I live in a different town, it could't be easier still going through Rod's office. Thank you Rod and current and past staff."
